An exciting transatlantic partnership has been cooking and is now ready to be dished up, globally.
London based production aficionados Mad Cow Films have announced they will be representing several of Psyop’s notable directors in the UK and The Netherlands. Their talent roster is expanding to welcome Alan Bibby, Borja Peña Gorostegui, Hanzo Hanzo, Igor & Valentine, Jack Anderson, Marie Hyon, Marco Spier, and Todd & Kylie.
Pete Chambers, executive producer at Mad Cow Films said, “Psyop have been my heroes for many years now. Their work has always shone out as a beacon of creativity, and I am really excited to be working with them”.
Psyop’s commercial work for brands such as Coca Cola, Nike, and Supercell broke the mould of what was possible in both the animation and live action world and they continue to set the bar across the industry with work for brands such as Google, Hulu, and EA.
Sister company, John Spary Associates (JSA), will represent the same directors across various other international territories within the EMEA region and in Asia.
John said, “Like Pete, I have long admired the amazing work Psyop’s directors have consistently delivered. Their reputation, whether it be in television, gaming or commercials is enviable. Having this range of talent on our roster allows our clients the ability to explore every conceivable choice of live action & animation style - and we are looking forward to this very exciting opportunity.”
The collective of directors represented will include Psyop founders Todd&Kylie, Marie Hyon and Marco Spier, who alongside CEO, Eben Mears set up shop in New York over 23 years ago having met at the infamous MTV HQ, masterminding those iconic visuals for our 90’s televisions. Today, their entire global team is location agnostic thanks to their fully cloud based studio setup allowing for seamless approval processes and 24/7 workflow.
Psyop founder and CEO Eben Mears commented, “We are so excited to be working with the Mad Cow and JSA teams and can't wait to see what new creative heights we can climb together. Psyop’s long history of innovation, especially in animation, together with Mad Cow’s experienced creative team will take us to the highest heights!”
The teams will kick off their alliance with a grand tour of London, Amsterdam and Germany in late October, early November of this year.
