Progressive Insurance Gives People a Break and Does Nothing in Latest Spot

Over the past year, we’ve all been through a lot – and so have Progressive’s customers and homeowners in general. To give people a break, in its latest ad nothing (wacky) happens…or does it?

While Progressive’s work is typically filled with over-the-top scenarios, the latest spot takes on a quiet and self-aware approach in order to make this new spot featuring Flo memorable and unexpected. Almost half of the ad is silence, which emphasises the lack of typical hijinks. The silence also builds tension to the ending– 3/5ths of NSYNC’s surprise arrival. Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone, and Lance Bass are the perfect trio to poke fun at the fact that Flo and Rodney don’t want them there.
