Getting women into top roles in the creative industry is a big conversation right now. We can all say that having children is not the sole reason why women aren’t making it to the top as often as men. But it does play a big part.
Laura Clark, an advertising creative, runs a podcast called ‘Pro Mum’ where she speaks to successful mums in the creative industries. The aim is to inspire women and show them that it is possible to have a successful career as well as a home life.
In series one she’s spoken to Rosie Arnold, Ana Balarin, Rachel Gott, Natasha Taylor, Emer Stamp, Katerina Nissan, Caroline Pay and Amy Ewbank.
In the latest Pro Mum episode, Laura speaks to Kristina Ryan, a senior creative, about how she was made redundant whilst on maternity leave.
