POSTER Explores the Boundaries of Good and Evil for Winona Riders’ New Album

Directed by Dana Campanello and produced by POSTER, "Dorado y púrpura” lasts seven minutes and was shot with an Arri Alexa Mini LF camera and Super 16 mm film format.

The video features the presence of Jesus Christ and Satan, whom Dana describes as "Two characters who are neither good nor evil, they are what you allow them to be, what you ultimately seek. The fun part was thinking of Satan and Jesus Christ figuratively subjecting the band in some way and calling everyone so they can see it through that window that protects and exposes you at the same time."

The song "Dorado y Púrpura" from the recent album "El Sonido del Éxtasis," is one of Winona Riders' most acclaimed tracks. According to the band, the video "is an ode to shame, failure, and disgust. If you're stripped naked in front of a camera, it's hard not to feel identified, that's how we come into the world."

“Dorado y Púrpura” explores the boundaries of good, evil, the mind, and our visions. "I wanted to move away from the literal and play with the perspectives that the interior and exterior allowed us to achieve a video that represents something you could be creating in your mind and not a particular visual or physical sensation. What you feel you can control within your world collapses when two characters appear to make you fulfil their demands, which was the starting point for creating this world divided by a window."
