Sony PlayStation and BBH New York are stoking the excitement of gamers leading up to the release of Second Son, the third game in the bestselling inFAMOUS series that will hit shelves on March 21. The center of the campaign is a short film that depicts a locked-down city of Seattle where the superhuman protagonist, Delsin Rowe, fights back against the oppressive Department of Unified Protection (DUP).
The film aims to evoke the emotion of playing this first-person, action-adventure game and the thrill of mastering Delsin’s powers, which differentiate the game from others in its genre. Tying to the PlayStation brand campaign umbrella “Greatness Awaits,” is the tagline: Enjoy your power.
The campaign is rolling out with TV advertising based on the short film and complementary online advertising. Additionally, Sucker Punch, the game developer, has released a trailer that showcases the gameplay offered by the new game. While the film spot and online advertising bring to life the story and emotion of Second Son, the gameplay trailer captures the features that gamers will find only on their PlayStation 4 console.
inFAMOUS: Second Son will hit shelves globally on March 21. Published by Sony, it will only be available for the PlayStation 4. Please let us know if you have any questions.
