Pitch & Sync Set Up Amsterdam Shop
Creatively renowned London music agency, P&S (Pitch and Sync) is expanding into Europe and is officially opening their long anticipated Amsterdam office today.
To launch the new venture, P&S are hosted a collaborative event showcasing new musical talent and setting the tone for future creative partnerships. The first event of many, the launch on the 27th Octoberfeatured specifically commissioned artwork by Breed London and a performance from upcoming talent Chad Valley who blends electronica with soulful lyrics.
P&S is an independent creative agency that uses music, and the creativity surrounding it, to amplify brands and their communication. P&S works both with advertising agencies and direct to brands. Having established a successful London base, operational since 2005, their new office in the heart of Amsterdam is geared up to work with existing and new clients in The Netherlands and across Europe. P&S has a close affiliation with Amsterdam, having worked within the market for five years providing creative campaigns and sonic branding - as well as more traditional music supervision and music production, working with agencies such as W+K, 180 and DDB.
The P&S team has years of experience working in both advertising and within the music industry, cutting their teeth at respected indie labels such as Wall Of Sound, Moving Shadow, 679 and working with names like Röyksopp, The Streets and Plan B. The team’s way of working is to leverage their knowledge and connections across the industries to deliver credible and compelling campaigns for clients.
“We have big plans for the new office. We intend to create a cultural platform in Amsterdam that fuses all types of creativity with music at its heart.” Says Alex Lavery, Co-Founder. “Amsterdam was clearly our first choice of city to move to. There is such a strong and international creative community here producing exciting work with a strong emphasis on collaboration. We believe this approach is the way forward, as it encourages creative interaction and debate, which in turn is a perfect fit with our own collaborative ethos. We encourage long-term relationships that creatively involve rather than creatively control talent.”
The Amsterdam office is starting up with a small team, led by Dutch native Chayenne de Witte who joins as Business Manager, bringing passion for music and 10 years of advertising experience from agencies such as 180 and DDB into the mix. Co-Founder Alex Lavery and Head of Music Supervision Simon Robinson will head up operations from a creative standpoint, splitting their time between Amsterdam and London.
P&S brings a fresh approach to using music within the brand and agency space. They are passionate about involving talented artists in great campaigns, from established artists to upcoming talent. P&S have no rigid parameters about how they work, except the fact that credibility is paramount - and there must be great creative at the heart of what they do.
