Isa Zapata is a Brooklyn based photographer specializing in food, beverage, and hospitality. Raised by diplomat parents, Isa grew up in Colombia, Austria, Belgium, Mexico, Germany, France, and Egypt.
Her acquired international perspective enriches her work, infusing it with a deep appreciation for diverse culinary traditions and the universal language of food. She is deeply inspired by the power of food to heal human relationships with the environment and studied biology at the University of Pennsylvania to deepen her understanding of these dynamics.
Isa is passionate about collaborating with leaders in wellness, climate, and food justice, aiming to highlight food as a solution to contemporary health and environmental challenges.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Isa enjoys spending time in nature, snuggling with her foster dog, having a good laugh, and - food!
