In partnership with Prusa Research and LePub, the Fixables initiative redefines sustainability by giving users open access to 3D-printable parts—turning product maintenance into a creative, circular solution

Introducing Fixables, a groundbreaking initiative developed in collaboration with Philips Personal Health, leading 3D printer manufacturer Prusa Research and creative agencies LePub Amsterdam and LePub Milan, aimed at redefining sustainability in a fresh way. By giving consumers open access to 3D-printable files for select Philips Personal Health accessories, it aims to strengthen the brand’s circular model, enabling people to maintain products without compromising on quality.

Fixables responds to a clear consumer shift: people want to repair and maintain, not replace. This initiative empowers users, combining Philips’ engineering standards with the creative power of the global maker community. Through Prusa’s well-established network and tools, the project looks to unlock creative potential at scale -- helping engage new consumers in creative, circularity minded solutions.

At the core of the initiative will be a digital library of open-access 3D-printable replacement parts for selected Philips products which will be become broadly available. The Fixables platform is designed to support the natural wear that comes with years of regular use, making it easier for users to replace small parts and keep their products performing reliably. Designed to meet Philips’ high standards of quality and safety, these parts can help users keep their products going strong for years to come.

New parts will continue to be added to the Philips Fixables platform and made available on Printables.com, allowing users to download and print components at home or through certified Fixables partners. The initial pilot program will launch in Czechia, supported by a global site which is accessible for all, with additional market expansions expected.

“Fixables shows the value of collaboration with the passionate, creative community who love the Philips brand and the power of developing solutions together. By teaming up, we’re shaping a new circular model, helping turn sustainable intention into sustainable action,” said Marcin Molin, head of personal health – Central and Eastern Europe Region. “This is an important first step to making repair and maintenance a real, practical option for more people. It supports our mission to make our product life cycles last even longer.”

“Repair culture is in our DNA,” said Josef Průša, “and collaborating with Philips on Fixables means we’re not just building parts—we’re building a more sustainable future.”

“Fixables is a creative idea rooted in action,” said Bruno Bertelli global CEO LePub, CCO LePub Worldwide. “It’s not just about access to parts. It’s about giving people the tools, mindset, and pride to fix what’s theirs. It’s where product meets purpose, and where collaboration meets creativity.”

The Fixables campaign was brought to life through a global content platform, with the PR film shot in Prague by Stillking Films, and CGI assets developed by BAX Studio in Milan. The campaign features real makers and Philips users printing, repairing, and reimagining their own products, highlighting the creativity and empowerment at the heart of Fixables. Content includes CGI-driven demos showcasing officially printable parts driving to Philips.cz/Fixables. The campaign is currently live across Philips social channels and maker platforms, inviting a new generation to take repair into their own hands.
