With pet costs soaring, it’s no wonder 30% of pet parents, according to a recent Rover study, are cutting back on other parts of their budgets so they can keep taking great care of their furry friends. So, PetSmart is doing their part, dropping prices on over a thousand items, making it easier to spoil your pets without breaking the bank both in-store and online!
In a new campaign directed by Ben Mege, PetSmart and Deutsch LA are making sure there’s Something Worth Wagging About. Starring an adorable lineup of 10 lucky pet superstars (ie. dogs, cats, and even a guinea pig), the campaign is showing just how exciting savings can be—and their parents—are when they get to save big!
Catch Something Worth Wagging About on linear TV from September 16-29 in the US and Canada.
On the Importance of Wags
"Our mission was to capture the delight of pets and their parents when they come across fantastic deals. What better representation than wagging tails and happy pet faces?" said Brynn Good, creative director at Deutsch LA.
On the Importance of Value
"As people across America continue to navigate rising prices, bringing a new dimension to value has become even more important across all our clients. As we know, cost is important, but it’s not just about making things more affordable – it’s meeting consumers' unique needs. From convenience to loyalty rewards, what people value varies widely, and we're always pushing to bring that to life in fresh, creative ways.” said Jeff White, president, Deutsch LA.
