Pete Mellor Animates The Car Buying Service

The talented Pete Mellor from Park Village's animation arm Trunk has created this sweet, humorous and energetic 30-second TV spot for The Car Buying Service, working with Leeds-based agency Propaganda. The delightful little film perfectly combines colour and dynamic movement with a concise story arc. A clean, clear and honest style meshes neatly with the 'simplicity' ethos of The Car Buying Service.

 

 

The spot is crisply illustrated by Spencer Wilson and voiced by The Young Ones star Ade Edmondson.  

Says Pete: “It was great to work with Propaganda, helping them develop the initial storyboard. It would have been very easy to over-complicate the animation. But by keeping it simple, with a straightforward car journey, it kept the message clear.”
