The latest season finale of the cult classic series, Fargo, left fans buzzing not just about its gripping storyline, but also about a peculiar mention of a beloved household staple: Bisquick. As the episode titled 'Bisquik' unfolded, viewers found themselves captivated by main character, Dot (affectionately nicknamed Tiger), who found herself faced with the task of preparing biscuits under rather… unconventional circumstances.
This nod to Bisquick within the Fargo universe sparked a wave of excitement, prompting independent creative agency for General Mills' Bisquick, Pereira O'Dell, to seize the opportunity to commemorate this cultural moment.
The creative team at Pereira O’Dell designed a special edition Bisquick box inspired by Dot, complete with her cherished homemade 'Tiger' biscuit recipe and a sprinkling of Easter eggs only die-hard Fargo enthusiasts would appreciate. The box design serves as a fitting tribute to the beloved series and its Midwest roots.
To release this limited edition box, Pereira O'Dell has chosen to return to the roots of Fargo's narrative, partnering with a local supermarket in Dot's hometown of Scandia, Minnesota. Starting today, Fargo fans can get their hands on one of these boxes if they can make it to Federated Co-Ops Scandia Country Store.
General Mills (parent company of Bisquick) will be amplifying the excitement by announcing the limited edition box through the @BettyCrocker Instagram page, inviting Fargo fans from every corner of the globe to head to the Midwest.
