Pepsi have debuted, 'Pepsi Presents: A Cardi Carol', to promote its new ‘Gift it Forward with Pepsi’ campaign which celebrates and encourages the unapologetic act of gifting cash for the holidays. The creative, starring Cardi B, was developed and produced by VaynerMedia, PepsiCo’s digital AOR and provides a refreshing spin on traditional holiday campaigns. ‘Pepsi Presents: A Cardi Carol’ takes viewers back in time, to when Cardi was a young girl growing up in the Bronx. She gets snubbed by Santa on Christmas Eve for being on the ‘naughty list’ and vows to one day gift people – no matter if they are naughty or nice – what they really want – CASH. The story ends in present day with Cardi teaming up with Pepsi to gift cash forward to all this holiday season.
‘A Cardi Carol’ will be cut down to a :30 television commercial which will debut nationally on Thanksgiving Day.
