Elephant sanctuary charity Pangea Trust has partnered with the global socially-led creative agency We Are Social and its sister agency Hello to rebrand its visual identity and enhance its communications strategy.
We Are Social and Hello’s UK teams developed a social-first brand playbook, including brand guidelines, a social strategy, and social-first activation ideas designed to help the charity stand out on social platforms. These efforts aimed to make the charity's presence more engaging, innovative, and distinct within the non-profit and conservation sectors. Late last year, the charity relaunched its social channels (@pangea_trust) and began testing a fundraising campaign based on the newly developed branding guidelines.
The agencies also conducted a series of workshops with Pangea Trust to define its brand identity across social-first communications touchpoints, laying the groundwork for future fundraising efforts.
The work with Pangea Trust was undertaken as a pro-bono corporate social responsibility project by We Are Social and Hello.
Jim Coleman, UK chief executive for the We Are Social group, said, “Partnering with Pangea Trust has been such a rewarding experience for our teams. Through our workshops, we have helped the charity to rebrand its messaging and communications, enabling it to better connect with its supporters and drive essential fundraising efforts. We are thrilled to see the early success of their relaunch and proud to support their mission to end elephant captivity.”
Kate Moore, managing director at Pangea Trust said, “We are grateful to We Are Social and Hello for their support. The team played a crucial role in shaping our rebrand, and I cannot overstate the value this long-term campaign planning will bring to our mission to end elephant captivity. As we start our appeal for fundraising, we’re optimistic that we’ll be able to complete the first phase of development—bringing us closer to welcoming our first elephants to Pangea.”
