Outsider Editorial, the award-winning Toronto-based editing boutique, has signed with Minerva for US representation. While having worked globally and with many US clients to date, this partnership marks the four-year-old boutique’s first official step outside the Canadian market. "Our mandate has always been to follow great work within and beyond our borders. Our premise: There is no reason editors can’t be as mobile as directors. Our pairing with Minerva is a natural extension of that,” explains Outsider co-founder and editor Alison Gordon.
Minerva is led by dynamic duo Shauna Seresin and Mary Knox. “They have a deep passion for post production, a wealth of experience, and an extensive network. We’re excited to join forces,” says Kristina Anzlinger, Outsider EP.
Five of Outsider’s bright talents will be represented on the East Coast: Michael Barker, John Gallagher, Alison Gordon, Chris Murphy, and Cam Anderson.
“We jumped at the opportunity to introduce these fantastic editors to US agency creatives and producers,” said Shauna. “It’s a rare treat to discover talents with fully developed reels.”
In only four years, Outsider Editorial has garnered an impressive number of international accolades, with more than 20 (Craft) Editing Awards from shows such as the Webby’s, Shots Awards, Marketing Awards, Clios, and Gerety Awards, to name a few. The company also was nominated as Shots Awards 'Editing House of the Year' in its second year in operation.
At Minerva, Outsider Editorial joins a roster of live-action production companies, animation, and production services. Both Shauna and Mary have post-production as well as agency experience.
Kristina is looking forward to securing Midwest representation for Outsider Editorial in the coming months.
