His next career move saw Otis move to Outsider, starting his next chapter working alongside directors such as DOM&NIC, Chris Balmond and Harold Einstein working on campaigns such as Bernardo’s Mollusc, RNIB Before You Ask, and KwikFit Drive Happy.Otis was also instrumental in the recent signing of The Berry Boys, two directors who represent the proactive and forward thinking approach of the new blood of the industry.
His promotion follows in the footsteps of Simon Elborne who recently has moved on to new pastures after almost 20 years.
Otis says of the promotion, “It’s been a tricky couple of years for the industry but being at a company as creative and supportive as Outsider has made it all worth it. We’ve got some fantastic work out into the world this year and we’re showing no signs of slowing down. Stepping into the big shoes of executive producer is an exciting opportunity and to continue working alongside the brilliant talent and team we have here is nothing but positive. There’s plenty more to come from us and to be a part of the next chapter, as we navigate an industry in transition, is one I’m ready for with new, bold talent coming through.”
Richard Packer, managing partner of Outsider says, “As with the strong tradition at Outsider of building careers, it’s with great excitement and pride that we can announce Otis will be working alongside me, as our new executive producer. Over the last two years Otis has shown his passion and drive within the industry and is a great laugh despite being a Liverpool fan! I couldn’t be more delighted and looking forward to what the future holds.”
