With its latest campaign, Opendoor is tackling one of the biggest real estate category myths: That winter is not an ideal time to sell a home.
For years, homeowners have avoided listing their home at year’s end. But selling to Opendoor is a reliable option no matter the time of year. After all, people should move on the timeline that works best for them - regardless of the season.
So, Opendoor partnered with award-winning independent agency L&C in New York City to create 'Confessions.' This campaign reveals that selling homes hassle-free during the colder months can be simple and certain using Opendoor.
"Opendoor is challenging the belief that selling a home during fall or winter is difficult," said chief marketing officer David Corns. "Our 'Confessions' campaign highlights just how easy it can be for homeowners to sell to us in the off-season. We're grateful to our creative partners at L&C for their unique approach, incorporating a playful nod to true crime documentaries."
The two 'Confessions' spots launch during the winter to empower homeowners to sell using Opendoor. The brand will amplify the campaigns' reach with paid media that targets major national and local news networks with true crime programming, inspired by the creative's true crime documentary style.
“We’re excited to share this new campaign with our partners from Opendoor,” says Gian Carlo Lanfranco, founder and CCO of L&C. “What makes this idea so insightful and powerful is that it demystifies this common real estate industry consideration in a creative way.”
