Ontario Lottery Helps You Find Your Possible in Big LOTTO 6/49 Campaign

FCB Canada developed the campaign launching two big jackpots on every ticket

Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG), along with our lottery partners from across Canada, has launched a new, bigger LOTTO 6/49. The new LOTTO 6/49 now gives players a chance to win TWO multi-million-dollar jackpots on every ticket: the Classic Jackpot of $5 million dollars, plus the new growing Gold Ball Jackpot. This new Gold Ball Jackpot guarantees that the winner will take home either $1 million, or the growing jackpot that starts at $10 million and can exceed $60 million - all for the same $3 per play.

“What better way to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the iconic LOTTO 6/49 lottery than by bringing more excitement to our players with the new growing Gold Ball Jackpot Draw, while maintaining some of the classic LOTTO 6/49 features players love,” said Duncan Hannay, OLG’s president and CEO. “This exciting product innovation has been a great collaboration with OLG’s provincial lottery partners across Canada, ensuring that our national lottery games always bring customers the fun they want, with the big jackpots to match!”

To launch the game changes, LOTTO 6/49 worked with FCB to develop a new platform called, 'Find your possible.' To each of us, there are moments and experiences we crave - but we just don’t have the time or money. But with two big jackpots on every ticket, your possible could be closer.

“The game has changed with the new LOTTO 6/49 - but what hasn’t changed is winning; it lets you live out the possibilities you thought were out of reach.” said Troy McGuinness, GCD, FCB. “We wanted to illustrate how there's now two chances to find that moment you never thought was possible."

From small prizes to the biggest Jackpots, there have been more than 1.6 billion winners across all of Canada over the last four decades.
