OKRP has hired two proven industry leaders to run the agency’s new Metro by T-Mobile and other accounts, which were added to OKRP’s roster earlier this year.
Sandy Kolkey has joined the agency as executive client business lead, leading the agency’s work for a number of accounts including Marco’s Pizza. Kolkey has spent his career on both the client and agency sides, including roles as CMO for Turtle Wax and SVP Brand Management for Discover Card. Agency career highlights include serving as SVP, chief client officer at Epsilon, president of FCB New York, and EVP at Leo Burnett overseeing their global P&G feminine care account. In this role, he led the agency’s efforts behind the multi-award winning “Like a Girl” campaign. A Northwestern graduate, Kolkey gives back to the Chicago community through volunteering efforts and has offered his expertise as an adjunct professor at his alma mater.
Michelle Scallate joins OKRP from DDB and will be overseeing the agency’s Metro by T-Mobile account. At DDB, Scallate supervised the global Mars account and before that, climbed the ranks at Leo Burnett, moving from account supervisor to vice president in just three years. Client campaigns she’s worked on have been awarded by the Clios, the One Show, Cannes Lions and the New York Festival Advertising Awards, among others. Scallate grew up just outside of Chicago and has called the city home for most of her life – she’s well-acquainted with the “soul” of the city that fuels OKRP’s work. Her new title is client management director.
“Michelle and Sandy are both standouts in the industry. That we’re able to bring them onto our account leadership team is a testament to our ongoing growth story and our ability to hire unmatched talent,” said Nick Paul, President of OKRP.
Scallate and Kolkey will add to a passionate, invested and growing bench of talent at OKRP. The agency’s client roster has increased significantly in the last year, adding several new clients in addition to Metro by T-Mobile and Marco’s, including Michael’s, and more.
