OkayStudio Welcomes Award Winning Colourist Marina Starke

OkayStudio kicks off the summer by signing award-winning colourist, Marina Starke, to their roster. A passionate and ambitious artist, Marina perfectly balances creativity, storytelling in colour, and technical insight. She is recognised globally for her award-winning work for some of the industry’s most recognisable creatives including Henry Scholfield, Felix Brady, Stefanie Soho, Salomon Ligthelm and Jonas Lindström to name a few.

An in-demand colourist, Marina brings with her an extensive client list, working on campaigns for the likes of Mercedes, Nike, Sony, Coach, Hyundai, BMW, North Face and Amazon. Her commercial and music videos have seen her recognised for numerous awards including AICP for Best Color in 2023. Paired with her critically acclaimed commercial work, Marina has extensive experience in both episodic and feature-length projects, including her work on The Empress for Netflix, which won an Emmy. Her feature films have been recognized at prestigious festivals such as Camerimage, Tribeca, and Berlinale.

With the hire of Katie Dymmock as colourist and Franky Chadwick as colour EP, the colour department has grown in strength and numbers over the last year. Paired with the success of rising talent Alex O’Brien, the team have worked on a range of outstanding projects which have been recognised at Creative Circle, Kinsale, and the UKMVAS.
