Jeremy has worked with brands such as Mondelez, TD Bank, Unilever, Hellmann’s, Absolut, and Kimberly-Clark, among others

Ogilvy today announced that Jeremy Daly has joined the creative agency as chief strategy officer for Ogilvy Canada. Jeremy will be responsible for working across offices to deliver world-class, insights-driven creative solutions for the agency’s local, regional and global clients, which include Mondelez, TD Bank, Unilever, Hellmann’s, Absolut, and Kimberly-Clark, among others. Jeremy brings a wealth of experience having worked at agencies including Droga5, Havas, Mekanism, and Wieden+Kennedy.

Marie-Lise Campeau, president of Ogilvy Canada, said: “Jeremy understands how to build and grow brands through creative ideas. Jeremy’s experience with some of the world's most recognizable brands will only further strengthen the team we have been building, and we could not be more thrilled to welcome someone of his calibre back to the Ogilvy family in Canada.”

Anibal Casso, chief strategic officer for Ogilvy North America, said: “Jeremy's work speaks for itself, and we're thrilled to have him join our team. Creativity founded on deep strategy is what allows us to unlock unreasonable impact for our clients’ brands and businesses. His deep understanding of brands, culture, and consumer behaviour will be an incredible asset to our people and clients alike.”

Jeremy joins Ogilvy at a time when the company has garnered multiple network accolades, including Network of the Year by the Clio Awards, Global Creative Network of the Year by Campaign, and Network of the Year at The One Show Awards.

Ogilvy Canada has been at the helm of several impactful campaigns this year, including two Super Bowl ads for TD Bank that humorously tackled cultural taboos around money and financial conversations, innovative work for Absolut Vodka that combined the unique identities of Canada’s communities with the power of AI to create stunning cocktail artworks, and the Injectable Billboard as part of Dove’s Self-Esteem Project, which used 50,000 syringes to represent the number of Canadian teens ages 14-17 who received cosmetic injectables last year in an attempt to alter their appearance to meet the unrealistic beauty standards they see in their feeds. Ogilvy Canada was also part of the global agency team behind Dove’s powerful ‘Cost of Beauty’ film, which addressed the rise in youth mental health issues linked to social media.

Jeremy Daly said: “There’s nowhere quite like Ogilvy. After leaving so many years ago, I am excited to be rejoining now.  Ogilvy Canada is on a creative tear with award-winning and culturally impactful campaigns. I’m looking forward to partnering with the team to keep pushing powerful creative work.”

Jeremy’s career pedigree makes him an exceptional addition to the Ogilvy Canada team, with his proven track record of strategic excellence and innovation. His career work spans notable campaigns such as Charles Schwab ‘Talk to Chuck,’ Dos Equis ‘Most Interesting Man,’ Heineken ‘Man of the World,’ and Delta ‘Keep Climbing,’ as well as work on the Nike Jordan brand.

Francesco Grandi, chief creative officer for Ogilvy Canada, said: “When I first met Jeremy, it took about three seconds to know he was the one. What immediately struck me, other than his intelligence and clarity in thinking, was his empathy. Jeremy is someone who will deeply understand our client-partners’ most complex business problems and will help simplify them. And as we look to create even more fame-driving work for our biggest clients, he will be a key component in getting us there quicker.”

Becoming CSO of Ogilvy Canada marks Jeremy’s return to the network—he began his advertising career at Ogilvy Toronto, eventually leading digital strategy for IBM in New York before moving on to other agencies. Jeremy's previous roles at Droga5 and W+K have prepared him well for the challenges and opportunities he will encounter as chief strategy officer at Ogilvy Canada. He has worked with clients in a variety of industries, including technology, financial services, and consumer goods, and has a deep understanding of the marketing landscape.

"I'm excited to be returning to Ogilvy, where my career in advertising began," Daly added. "I look forward to working with the talented team at Ogilvy Canada to create innovative, effective strategies that help our clients achieve their goals."
