Tweeting beer drinkers rewarded in Holler campaign

NOW TV and Carling are celebrating their partnership offering free Sky Sports Day Passes on special packs of Carling by challenging football fans round the country to come up with their best football banter in order to win prizes.

The people who come up with the best tweets using the hashtag #FootballBanter can win a free promotional pack of Carling including a Sky Sports Day Pass. Everyone is invited to tweet their banter and Sky Sports presenters Max Rushden, John “Fenners” Fendley and Peter Dale aka “Tubes” from Soccer AM will also be tweeting their followers to encourage them to join in.

The campaign, by Holler, runs from October 28th to November 10th.

#FootballBanter brings Carling drinkers and sport fans together in a perfect partnership of beer, banter and sport. While the banter may focus on rivalries between the teams, the aim is to highlight what the fans have in common– a proud love of beer and sport.

Bian Salins, Now TV’s Head of Social said: “#FootballBanter is going to celebrate the perfect partnership between Carling and NOW TV. The campaign is truly social, tapping into the existing conversation around big games with @maxrushden, @FennersFooty, and @TubesSoccerAM inviting the audience to give us the best banter they've got in return for a promotional pack of Carling.”
