NOVA & Warner Music Launch Fresh Discovery

NOVA Entertainment and Warner Music announced a collaboration to launch Nova’s Fresh Discovery.

With the global dominance of Australian artists such as Sia, Iggy Azalea, 5 Seconds Of Summer, Flume and Chet Faker, the eyes and ears of the world are pointing to Australia to find the next big thing.

Nova, Warner Music and Rumble want to find the next Australian superstar and are joining forces to create Nova’s Fresh Discovery – a national search for the best unsigned talent in Australia. The winner will receive a recording deal with Warner Music and a mentoring session with one of the world’s biggest artists.

Judges are looking for the real deal - cutting-edge, contemporary artists who have a vision for their music and their career, and who care about the music they create.

James Roberts, head of A&R for Parlophone/Warner Music Australia said: “This is a really great opportunity for an emerging musician or band to accelerate their career in an artist- friendly way.”

Nova’s Fresh Discovery is now accepting online auditions via www.freshdiscovery.com.au and will also be hosting live auditions in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth from 18 to 22 March. Contestants must be over 14 years old and the competition is open to groups or solo artists.
