Lloyd Daniel, one of neverland’s founding employees, has been promoted to the role of associate creative director.
Joining neverland shortly after the agency was founded in 2019 by Jon Forsyth and Simon Massey, Lloyd has been behind many of the agency’s most ambitious and award-winning campaigns.
His early work for the agency led him to be highlighted as one of Campaign’s Faces to Watch in 2020. Following a series of high-profile campaigns and pitch wins, and his role in taking on mentorship of junior creatives in the agency, he was then shortlisted for Campaign Creative Team of the Year for 2021.
Key campaigns include:
Rocky / Ladbrokes - One of 2022’s most high profile 360 campaigns, with the launch film already winning multiple gold awards for its craft including gold at Ciclope for VFX
Neighbours / what3words - Multi award winning TV campaign that won gold for use of humour at the 22 Epica awards. The film also took home four silvers at Kinsale Sharks for the performance and comedy within the spot.
To Firsts That Last_ / Kopparberg - Lloyd’s first major Campaign for neverland which led to Kopparberg’s most successful Summer, and significantly shifted the brand’s positioning with gen z consumers.
Drummers / Ladbrokes - neverland’s first work for Ladbrokes, and one of the most ambitious projects created in lockdown with filming including almost 200 drummers on location.
Daniel will continue to work under neverland ECD Noel Hamilton.
Lloyd Daniel, associate creative director of neverland, said, “There are very few places you get the kind of creative freedom you get at neverland, so I’m bang up for this next level.”
Noel Hamilton, ECD of neverland, said, “Lloyd has the makings of a great creative leader. He pushes his work to be the absolute best version it can be, and then pushes it even further.”
Jon Forsyth, co-founder of neverland, said, “From our small shed start, this man has been by our side all the way. He’s what it takes to be the best and has just gotten started”.
