Director Raine Allen-Miller and Somesuch bring the tongue in cheek ad to life capturing the support on offer from the website building platform

Squarespace, the all-in-one website building and ecommerce platform, is launching its latest UK campaign. ‘Neighbours Will Talk’ is the brand’s first locally produced ad, shot in Manchester under the eye of Manchunian director, Raine Allen-Miller (Instagram).

The witty, tongue in cheek ad follows the niche entrepreneurial endeavours of a group of neighbours as they trade hot goss about each other's businesses that have all been brought to life with Squarespace.

Squarespace’s mission is to help people with creative ideas stand out. This ad aims to inspire British entrepreneurs and creators to turn their dreams into reality by showing how Squarespace can support them with everything they need to sell anything from a nan selling her naughty knitted video content to a man selling members only sneakers content.

The campaign was spearheaded by the Squarespace in-house Creative team who are renowned for producing award-winning campaigns including the company's 2022 Super Bowl ad featuring Zendaya, which leaned into the ‘Everything to sell anything’ wider campaign. Recently, Squarespace also launched Fluid Engine, a brand new website design system that offers a customisable, fast and easy website design experience for users on both desktop and mobile.

Fluid Engine provides a new editing system with reimagined Drag-and-Drop technology and ultimately provides users with more creative freedom and flexibility than ever before when designing a website. This campaign and the latest product offering from Squarespace highlight the need for small businesses, creators and entrepreneurs to continue to evolve their offering and digital presence across platforms in this day and age, ultimately providing everything they need to sell anything.
