College millenials 'Share the Hamptonality' in social campaign

Fall means two things: school and football. Ad agency Mistress is taking on both in a new social media campaign and TV spot for Hampton Hotels. The spot is an updated version of “Share the Hamptonality,” a Mistress campaign that ran over the summer and featured some real millennial “influencers” with strong online presences. In this version, Mistress followed the social media progress of four dedicated college football fans as they traveled to early season games in Tempe, Arizona; Atlanta, Georgia; and Arlington, Texas. In each case, the fans stayed at a Hampton Hotel, while documenting their travel and game experiences through fun updates, photos, and videos posted to social media platforms using the hashtag #hamptonality. Mistress used the content generated to create a new 30-second television spot.
