McDonald’s Germany has teamed up with H.P. Baxxter, the iconic frontman of Scooter, to launch a sizzling new campaign celebrating the irresistible crispy McCrispy. In this one-of-a-kind collaboration, H.P. Baxxter has temporarily rebranded himself as Cris P. Baxxter, a playful nod to the crispy delight that is taking over taste buds across Germany.

But that's not all - H.P. Baxxter together with Scholz & Friends have taken it a step further by reimagining his legendary hit song “Maria (I Like It Loud)” into a fun, crunchy anthem: “McCrispy (I Like It Laut)”. This custom version of the track is a perfect fit for the campaign and will undoubtedly have fans rocking out while they bite into their McCrispys!

From February 20th to April 15th, 2025, McDonald's Germany will be offering the “I Like It Laut” menu at participating locations. This exciting new menu includes a McCrispy of your choice, Crispy Chips, Cris P. Sauce, a drink, and - because the crunch is just too loud to ignore - a pair of earplugs for those who need a little extra protection for their sensitive ears.

McDonald’s Germany is rolling out a comprehensive 360-degree campaign to spread the word. The campaign will include TV commercials, online ads, radio spots, influencer partnerships, social media content, and PR initiatives, all featuring Cris P. Baxxter sharing his excitement for the McCrispy. The campaign is designed to make noise, with the crispy crunch of the McCrispy as the soundtrack to a perfect partnership between music and food.

The campaign has been developed by Scholz & Friends, McDonald’s Germany’s lead marketing agency, produced by Cobblestone Filmproduktion GmbH and directed by Christian Schilling. The imaginative set design, which includes a burger bed, burger figures, and a statue of Cris P. Baxxter, was created under the direction of art director Christina Mammes.

This collaboration between McDonald’s and H.P. Baxxter promises to deliver the crunchiest, loudest, and most fun experience in fast food. McDonald's is inviting all fans of music and flavour to join in the celebration of the crispy McCrispy – it’s love at first crunch!
