Cobblestone Signs Director Hala Matar to Roster

Cobblestone is excited to announce the signing of LA based Hala Matar, a visionary Bahraini film director.

Hala Matar has become a prominent figure in the world of film and fashion direction. She has directed commercials and branded content for some of the most prestigious global brands, including Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Moncler, Kenzo, Vivienne Westwood, Issey Miyake, and Diesel. Her bold and innovative approach has garnered attention and admiration in various markets.

In addition to her work in advertising, Hala recently released her debut feature film ELECTRA, a thrilling and suspenseful drama that will be in cinemas on May 2nd.

ELECTRA blends tension and intrigue in the vein of The Talented Mr. Ripley and Saltburn, and features a talented cast including Oscar nominee Maria Bakalova, Abigail Cowen and Jack Farthing.

Hala has also directed music videos for renowned artists such as Interpol, The Voidz, and Poolside. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with an impressive roster of stars, including Kristen Stewart, Chloe Sevigny, Johnny Knoxville, Suki Waterhouse, Anton Yelchin, Maria Bakalova, and Matthew Gray Gubler.

Beyond her work as a director, she is also an accomplished curator of art exhibitions. She has worked with internationally acclaimed artists such as Martin Creed, Ryan Gander, Madeline Hollander, Gohar World, Peter Shire, Darren Bader, and Piero Golia, further showcasing her diverse talents and deep understanding of the arts.
