McCann UK Announces Senior Promotions Across Central Offices

McCann today announced key promotions across its Central offices which include Birmingham, Milton Keynes, Demand, Bristol and Leeds.

Chris Falconer has been promoted to the newly created role of group managing director at McCann Birmingham to lead the successful 250-strong integrated operation. Falconer previously served as Managing Director at McCann Demand, having spearheaded the agency’s growth through significant client wins.

Falconer will work with the existing senior management team in Birmingham across the key business units of Advertising, PR & Social and Media (UM) with a focus on new business and strengthening integration.

Lucy Hudson has been promoted to managing director at McCann Demand. Hudson served as managing partner and has been instrumental in driving new business and growth in client assignments, business and people. She was recently named on the 2022 WACL Talent Awards list.

At McCann Leeds, Olly Sowden becomes managing director, having launched the office in 2019 as managing partner. Olly has firmly established McCann in Leeds, growing the team and working with a range of clients such as Slumberdown, Yorkshire Water, Benenden and Edinburgh International Festival.

Tom Grocott has been promoted to the role of group head of LIVE for McCann Central, as part of the ongoing expansion of McCann’s global social media offering across its operations. He will work with Monica Tailor, SVP, Global Director of LIVE - McCann’s global social practice.

Tom joined McCann Birmingham in 2012 and has been responsible for growing its social media offering and effective solutions for global clients.
