Passionate fandom meets passionate filmdom in a recent collaboration between agency SA-5 and kaboom director matt fackrell on a two-spot campaign for Major League Soccer team the San Jose Earthquakes. Each spot introduces us to the central character’s passion – an alter ego of enthusiasm that revels in all things Quakes-related.
The spots showcase fackrell’s keen eye for casting and performance, and build on his recent dialogue (in this case, technically, monologue) driven projects. The campaign was shot in fackrell’s home, which was transformed into the perfect location for the inner-uber fan living among us. Favorite colors? Blue and white, of course.
