Today Matalan, a leading ominchannel fashion and homeware value retailer, launches its Spring campaign – ‘More to Love at Matalan’. The campaign showcases recently launched own labels Et Vous and Be Beau alongside other brands across women's, men's, kids and home whilst also re-enforcing the retailer’s value credentials.
For the first time ever, the campaign includes two bespoke homeware edits, showcasing Matalan’s expanded Homestore offering that now includes furniture.
Created by McCann Manchester, the campaign, entitled, ‘More to Love at Matalan,’ will run across TV, VOD, digital and social and breaks this evening during Emmerdale. In addition to ITV, the media schedule incorporates Channel 4 and SKY, which are new channels for Matalan.
Sitting under its brand platform ‘Real Life Ready’ the creative aims to reinforce the value and range credentials for the Liverpool based retailer and drive awareness of its existing and new own brands across fashion and home.
The 30, 20 and ten second spots showcase all Matalan has to offer; from party, occasion wear and daytime dressing through to kids wear, home accessories and furniture.
On More to Love at Matalan, Jeff Howarth, omnichannel marketing director at Matalan said: “The campaign uses our new brand track for 2022, ‘Ready For the Good Life,’ by Paloma Faith and really encapsulates the optimism that Spring can bring. The campaign perfectly showcases our fashionability and range, with bespoke edits to share our interior and outdoor homeware and furniture for the first time.”
He continued: “We are keenly aware that our customers are feeling the financial squeeze in the current climate so re-enforcing our value credentials was important too.”
Imogen Tazzyman, executive creative director at McCann Manchester said; “Brilliant brands, gorgeous fashion and homeware, incredible value - when it comes to helping our customers get real life ready, there’s a lot more to love at Matalan. And not only did the team bring our vision to life beautifully; the director Marie did all that with a baby on her hip. Now that’s real life.”
