RTS award winner Oli Julian is a composer, producer and arranger of music for TV, films and commercials, working both collaboratively and solo. Signed to Manners McDade, he was recently awarded the RTS Craft and Design prize for Original Title Music in 2018 for BBC comedy Motherland. Oli’s other projects include Back (Channel 4), Plebs (ITV 2), Timewasters (ITV 2), Josh (BBC Three), Gap Year (E4) and series four and five of Episodes (BBC).
Sex Education is a British comedy-drama created by Laurie Nunn and starring Gillian Anderson, Asa Butterfield, Emma Mackey, Ncuti Gatwa, Connor Swindells and Kedar Williams-Stirling. The series follows socially awkward high school virgin Otis, living with his sex therapist mother and his joint endeavour with savvy rebel Maeve to set up a school sex-therapy clinic. Launched last Friday, Sex Education is already projected to be watched by 40 million within the first month. The series features an eclectic original score by Oli and has also broken Tunefind records as a new show premiere.
