Harry has also recently worked on Paddy Considine’s, ‘Journeyman’ and Clio Barnard’s ‘Dark River’

Starring Mark Strong, and Joe Dempsie, ‘Deep State’ is a brand new 8-part thriller exclusive to Fox Network. Strong plays ex-MI6 spook Max Easton, forced to return to service by intelligence chiefs to undertake one final assignment. The situation is further complicated by Easton’s son, Harry Clarke - a fellow MI6 operative who has followed in his father’s footsteps, and may have died in the line of duty. With a storyline that feels especially relevant in today’s current political climate, ‘Deep State’ is set to be a gripping immersive drama.

Harry Escott provides the series soundtrack, having first come to prominence in 2005 with his score to David Slade’s influential psychological horror film, ‘Hard Candy’. He previously worked with director Steve McQueen’s on his debut film ‘Shame’, and more recently scored Paddy Considine’s, ‘Journeyman’ and Clio Barnard’s ‘Dark River’.

The first episode of ‘Deep State’ airs tonight at 9pm, on ‘Fox UK’. Watch the series trailer below.
