Brady Corbet, the director behind the 'The Brutalist', has signed with magna studios.
Known for his boundary-pushing creativity and cinematic vision, Brady has established himself as one of the most exciting voices in contemporary filmmaking. His work consistently challenges conventions, delivering thought-provoking narratives with emotional depth and striking visuals.
His latest feature, 'The Brutalist,' released theatrically in December, further solidifies his place as a visionary filmmaker, receiving a total of 10 nominations for the up and coming academy awards. The period drama, which explores the journey of a Hungarian Jewish architect in post-WWII America, has earned widespread acclaim, already winning three Golden Globe Awards, including Best Picture and Best Director. The film features Adrien Brody in a career-defining performance who also received the Golden Globe Best Actor award.
Brady's previous films have also earned significant acclaim. 'The Childhood of a Leader,' won the Orrizonti Best Director Award and the Luigi De Laurentiis Lion of the Future Award, while 'Vox Lux' starring Natalie Portman was hailed by critics after premiering in competition at the 2018 Venice, London and Toronto International Film Festival.
