Independent post-production house Magic Numbers has moved to new premises in Shoreditch, having swiftly outgrown their original home in Fitzrovia.
With more than four decades of experience between them, founders creative director Bevis Jones and executive producers Anandi Peiris and Ryan Hancocks have led Magic Numbers from strength to strength since its formation in 2022, working with numerous clients including Pablo, T&P and M&C Saatchi, on branded work such as British Gas, Deliveroo, NHS, LNER and Rolex.
Alongside its relocation to 15 Holywell Row - a charming four-storey, self contained Victorian townhouse - Magic Numbers has invested in smart server/storage infrastructure, enabling remote working across VFX, CG and colour grading. The new office includes online suites, secure zones, open-plan working spaces and client breakout areas. “The pandemic changed the way we work forever, and we’ve embraced this new landscape by combining our new high-end offices with high-spec cloud-based capabilities - so we can service our clients in the most nimble way, with talent from around the globe,” said Bevis.
While the new premises represent a significant increase in size and capability for Magic Numbers, the founders are passionate about protecting their personalised, bespoke approach to post-production, which sits at the centre of the company’s raison d’être. “We want our clients to feel they’re in truly safe, experienced hands,” said Anandi, “with a creative team that’s carefully curated just for them. Whether it’s a straightforward finishing job or a more complex VFX project, client satisfaction is as important to us as the creative output”.
With the new premises marking the start of the next exciting chapter, the company is now more ready than ever to welcome new collaborators. “Get in touch,” said Ryan. “Magic Numbers is a home from home for our existing clients, and a warm welcome awaits prospective clients looking for a post offering that seamlessly combines creative excellence and relationship-based ways of working.”
