Macy's promotes Black Friday with a Bieber screamathon.
Black Friday continues to be the largest annual sales day for Macy’s as a nationwide retailer.
For the first time, Macy’s opened their doors at midnight and wanted a TV spot that would raise awareness for their Black Friday sale. Enlisting superstar performer Justin Bieber, “Screamers” spins America’s obsession with the pop star into a humorous tale of unexpected encounters as he makes his way to Macy’s for Black Friday.
The spot calls attention to the midnight opening, as well as to an exclusive gift set for Bieber’s fragrance Someday, available only at Macy’s.
Proceeds from the gift set will be donated to The Make-A-Wish Foundation.
