House 337 has hired its first head of new business and marketing since the agency launched in September 2022. Lucy Freedman joins from Digitas as part of a push to bring a more interdisciplinary approach to House 337’s growth strategy, harnessing the full power of the agency’s offering.
As head of new business and marketing, Lucy will work with leaders across House 337’s capabilities – advertising and comms, social and content, fashion and lifestyle, customer experience, AI and innovation and sport – to engage the agency’s full set of resources in the service of driving new business and sustained growth. Lucy joins a strong team, including Lauren Estwick, recently hired to drive sales and marketing across Sport, as well as Steph Dixon, Abraham Onimole and Hilary Watson, another new joiner as New Business Manager focussed on government.
During Lucy’s two years at Digitas, the agency won clients, including BTEE, Crocs, Subway, and Norwegian Cruise Lines, bringing in briefs that span CRM, media, and digital advertising. Freedman previously worked at The Beyond Collective for five years, rising from Marketing Manager at Above+Beyond to business development director across the full micro-network.
Lucy Freedman, head of new business and marketing at House 337, said, “The truly collective approach to creativity at House 337 is so refreshing and exciting. The agency has all the ingredients in place: the clients, the work and the talent, and I’m looking forward to working with this brilliant team to propel House 337 to the next stage of its growth.”
Phil Fearnley, group chief executive officer of House 337, said, “We have waited to find the right candidate for us. Lucy has a brilliant track record; she totally understands the world we inhabit and the changing dynamics of the market. We are delighted we could bring her in to build our increasingly powerful new business and marketing function as we look to grow substantially in the coming years.”
