After working collaboratively with Red Robin International, Inc. for close to a decade, advertising agency LRXD has been named the restaurant company’s lead digital agency alongside their Agency of Record, carrying responsibility for the company’s digital execution and maintenance.
The opportunity – about which Red Robin approached the agency – builds upon years of work LRXD has been performing for the company, including building iPhone and Android apps, search engine optimization and managing the websites for its concept-based restaurants and loyalty program. LRXD’s work will support the overall strategy by Red Robin’s agency of record.
LRXD begins working this week in the new role, and its team is thrilled to have been selected, said John Gilbert, the agency’s chief digital officer. “It came to us through our long-term relationship,” he said, “and it’s a good testament to the trust between us.”
In addition to performing maintenance and database updates, LRXD will rework and retool Red Robin’s website to be mobile-responsive, recognizing the shift in how to best build and offer up mobile content, Gilbert said.
