Lowe and Partners took home a total of 29 awards at El Sol on Saturday night with Lola, Lowe’s Madrid and Barcelona based agency taking home 15, the most awarded agency of the year with Lowe and Partners were named Network of the Year.
The El Sol festival is widely recognized as the premiere award competition in Ibero-American communication honoring the best work in advertising, innovation, media, public relations, and branded content.
Lowe SSP3 Colombia, Borghi Lowe of Brazil and Ponce Buenos Aires took home a combined total of 14. Lowe SSP3 continues its winning streak with its anti-terrorism work for the Ministry of Defence while Lowe’s Argentinian agency Ponce Buenos Aires won across the board for Unilever’s Axe/Lynx and Frizze, while Borghi Lowe Brazil won for Pepsodent, Andaor/Anadin and Asics.
Lola took home the Grand Prix in outdoor and two Gold awards in outdoor and promo, for their ‘Saving Words’ campaign for Scrabble. Lola is the European agency of record for ten Mattel brands which includes Scrabble. In addition, Lola won gold in TV for Visionlab, four silver for Líbero Magazine, and silver and bronze for Unilever’s Cornetto. Lola won five more awards across all categories bringing the grand total to 15.
