Boldspace launches the sexual wellness brands loudest billboard yet

Leading sexual wellness brand, Lovehoney, turned a few heads this week as its latest advertising campaign appeared in Wimbledon with the witty message ‘Make a racket this Wimbledon’. The ad is part of its wider campaign focused on encouraging people to become more vocal in the bedroom this summer. 

Grunting on court has historically been quite the talking point for the sport, with spectators noticing it every year as they tune in to the tennis. With some experts and research suggesting that grunting can help improve a players’ performance – helping to improve confidence, rhythm and even the speed of the ball, Lovehoney is celebrating dialling up the decibels. The popular sex toy brand has explored the potential benefits making more noise can have on your performance in the bedroom and wants you to try it out for yourself! 

Sharing her insights on why making more noise in the bedroom might also help improve performance, Lovehoney’s sex and relationship expert, Annabelle Knight, says, “We often talk about the importance of good communication during sex, but what people can sometimes forget is that this comes in many different forms. Whilst it’s true that moaning, grunting and other similar noises, are a great way to let your partner know you’re enjoying yourself, we now think that expressing yourself in this way can actually have a direct impact on how things are feeling, and improve your performance.  

“Making noise can make you – and the moment – feel just that bit sexier and can help to turn you on even more, meaning that you’re both more likely to reach orgasm. It adds an extra steaminess and can make you feel more connected to your partner and in sync with each other." 

Discussing the campaign, Nadia McCowan Hill, global PR lead at Lovehoney said, “Wimbledon is such an iconic sporting moment each year and with grunting on court often a hot topic up of debate, we wanted to use this as an opportunity to talk about the benefits of making more noise, both on and off the court. People should feel empowered to get vocal and express themselves, so don’t be afraid to make a racket this summer!”
