Little Caesars is bringing back its much-loved Pretzel Crust Pizza to its U.S. restaurants. This follows unwavering requests by enthusiastic customers and social media fans, including a petition calling for the pizza’s return. First introduced as a limited-time promotion in 2014, the Pretzel Crust Pizza is a large buttery-flavoured soft pretzel crust pizza with creamy cheddar cheese sauce, mozzarella and Muenster cheeses and pepperoni.
And now, the salty savoury treat can be amped up with an optional cheese-stuffed crust or customised with the traditional Little Caesars pizza sauce made from vine-ripened tomatoes. Starting on 22nd February, and for a limited time only, customers can get their Pretzel Crust Pizza for only $6 (plus applicable tax) at participating locations nationwide.
In a unique twist, Little Caesars has hidden codes in athlete social media content, a radio spot and even in the middle of the desert. These codes allow customers to unlock pretzely prizes like Pretzel Crust pizza shoes, a Pretzel Crust area rug, and a Pretzel Crust-themed moped. Finders of these Pretzel Crust codes can enter them here to discover if they have won some of these exclusive prizes.
These hidden code locations will live with some influencers that McKinney and Little Caesars partnered with on their campaign, and in partnerships with the NHL, the NBA, Pepsi and Mountain Dew. Chief among these influencers was Sean Malto, professional skateboarder, who posted a video of him on Instagram doing a switchflip in front of a building. If you look closely, you'll find a hidden code there.
“Pretzel Crust fans, we hear you,” said Jeff Klein, senior vice president of global marketing for Little Caesars. “This pizza is our most popular product request on social media, and we’re excited to bring it back while treating customers to a few surprises along the way.”
Customers can now use the Little Caesars app to order a contactless delivery or carry-out Pretzel Crust Pizza, with their choice of sauce and crust or simply pick up a HOT-N-READY pizza from the store without preordering.
One of the 'snow circles' already caught someone's eye while driving near the Shelley exit on I-15 in Idaho. The driver saw that a design had been carved into freshly-fallen snow on a farm and used a drone to fly above a field to take a picture, sending it to a local news radio station. The pictures revealed a pizza-themed design, overlayed with the text 'M9SD6L.'
