LIA and Transatlantic Present Season 2 of OCEAN'S Series

Announcing a special edition of Transatlantic bringing you season two featuring the oceans of 17 new jury presidents.

Renamed OCEAN'S 17 in honour of the 2007 American film directed by Steven Soderbergh that was set in Vegas - will be taped live at Encore/Wynn, Las Vegas, from 7th October to 15th October, 2023 running concurrently with 2023 LIA judging.

In a room where red is the dominant colour and casino chips are scattered across a coffee table, Simone uses 'The 7 Seas Interview' format to dive deep into the lives and works of his guests, bringing to the surface undiscovered stories.

Season One, OCEAN'S 15, was broadcast live at Encore/Wynn, Las Vegas, from 30th September to 5th October, 2022 running concurrently with 2022 LIA judging.

"I believe that everybody is an ocean. To really get to know somebody, you need to cross their ocean. My vessel is made of questions. I’ve been fascinated by question marks since I was a kid. I still remember my first question mark on a page. I drew it upside down. I kept drawing it that way until one day my teacher decided to hold my hand, and we drew it together. She asked me what interested me so much about question marks. I told her that it was the shape of it. They reminded me of the shells you find at the beach. You pick one up, you place it close to your ear, and you listen to the sounds of the ocean. So here I am, listening to all kinds of sounds, coming from your oceans." said Simone Nobili
