LEAP London Moves and Upgrades Production HQ

Relocation brings increased capacity for moving image production and post

LEAP London Moves and Upgrades Production HQ

LEAP has served the advertising and marketing community for more than 30 years through their integrated production partnerships. Their broad roster of direct and agency clients include LVMH, Clarins, wagamama, Ogilvy, adam&eveDDB, Spark44 and Total Media. LEAP have now relocated their main production HQ to the heart of the Clerkenwell Creative Quarter at 19 Hayward’s Place, London EC1R 0EH. Their new location is just eight minutes via Crossrail (Elizabeth Line) to their Woolwich Printworks, and it is also very convenient for travel to their Chichester digital and creative offices.

As well as an upgrade within the EC1 location, LEAP’s new offices have allowed them to virtually triple in size and capacity for content and broadcast, with integrated post-production facilities of over 3,000 square feet. This includes editing, VFX and high-end finishing as well as voice over recording, broadcast audio production and a green screen studio.

Alongside the expansion of space for moving image production and post, LEAP have also invested in the latest platforms for servers and smart storage infrastructure which will provide even better speed and access to their existing technology suite. LEAP selected Qumulo for its cutting-edge hybrid and cloud storage.

Technology and systems director, Aidan Taub says: “We chose Qumulo because it allows us to scale any job to any size and work on it from anywhere in the world."

LEAP’s new premises also have a fascinating history. The site was once the location of the Red Bull Theatre, an open-air venue operating in Shakespearean times. LEAP’s production offices themselves once housed the vaults where Nicholson Gin produced spirits from 1828 into the twentieth century. No longer the prime location for brewing botanicals, LEAP London at Hayward’s Place is delivering creativity for advertising and marketing clients around the world.
