The UK Music Video Awards retain LEAP’s Film and Post team for their upcoming event, marking 14 years of post-production partnership. Beginning in 2008, the premier celebration of UK and international music video production and music filmmaking talent has grown bigger and better every year. 2022 sees the event at a new, larger venue on the Greenwich Peninsula.
Event Director Louise Stevens says, “We’re delighted to be working with the talented editors and producers at LEAP once again this year to create the on-screen packages for our Awards show. They are an essential force in the creative collaboration between the UKMVAs, our art directors at StudioThomson, animator Jake Greenwood and sound designer Rob Simons. With their help, we look forward to delivering a spectacular presentation of the nominated work at Magazine London on October 27th.”
The roots of LEAP’s moving image team date back to the 1990s, making them one of the most experienced post houses in London. This year, LEAP doubled the size of their post-production facilities and grew their team of producers and editors to better support clients across a broad range of sectors and post-production requirements.
David Poole, LEAP creative director of film and content says, “With an enthusiastic return towards normality in the workplace, it’s particularly exciting to yet again be working with the UKMVA co-founders Louise Stevens and David Knight and their extended team as post-production partners.”
The UKMVAS honour the creative people behind the artform – directors, producers, cinematographers, production designers, choreographers, colourists, editors, animators and VFX artists as well as commissioners and agents – all voted for by professionals within the industry. This year, LEAP also sponsors the Best Special Visual Project category.
Arlene Dignam, LEAP Video Producer says, “I am immensely proud to have worked with Ballistic Events on BUG and the UKMVAs for the last 14 years. Being a massive music fan, I've been so lucky to see the cutting edge of video production.”
Todd Gyamfi, LEAP motion graphics ditor says, “It’s always great to be appreciated for the work you do, so it’s a pleasure to help the ‘behind-the-scenes’ teams get their accolades.”
LEAP is proud to help the UKMVAs achieve high production values for what is the most important music video industry event in the calendar and are thrilled to continue their longstanding post-production partnership.
