The highly awarded Independent Agency has announced that Manu Hoffmann is joining the agency as Creative Director.
Lanfranco&Cordova has announced that Manu Hoffmann is joining the agency as creative director.
Manuel 'Manu' Hoffmann is a creative director with 14 years of agency experience across various markets, including the US on both General Market and multicultural advertising. His recent ‘Mother Blanket’ campaign, an idea that taps into a local tradition to address malnutrition problems, won two Gold Lions at Cannes Lions in 2021.
He has worked in both independent and network agencies such as Commonwealth, Cassanova, McCann New York, and Ogilvy in Ecuador. “I am honored to join L&C, one of the best Independent Agencies in the world. Is a great place for ideas to happen as it’s creatively led”, said Hoffmann. “Gian and Rolo - aside from being great leaders - are also creative people that help me learn and push my ideas further. I am really excited to be part of such an amazing group of people.”
Rolando Cordova, L&C’s co-founder and chief creative officer said: “We met Manu while working at McCann New York, and since then, we’ve been big fans of his work and creative thinking. We were looking for ways to work together, so we are happy he is joining us as a Creative Director. Manu has worked for both the general and multicultural market in the US and is originally from Ecuador, so he brings optimism and the immigrant way of thinking that is so truthful to L&C’s DNA. We are excited to see what we’ll be achieving together in the coming months.”
Manu will oversee a roster of growing clients that include Dole, Diageo, GE, Opendoor, Expedia, Thumbtack, etc. L&C has headquarters in New York City and a production studio in Lima, Peru. The agency is expanding to 21 full time employees including designers, programmers, and editors.
