Last night LBB APAC hosted its first-ever Christmas Party. APAC managing director Toby Hemming and APAC reporter Delmar Terblanche welcomed members of the Sydney creative community to Stanley’s on Stanley Street, for a night of drinks, music, and celebrating the long-overdue arrival of Summer.
The APAC team have spent six months on the ground, building relationships with creatives across the region. In that time they’ve experienced serious growth, but, more significantly, have been able to champion the uplift and positivity that is at the heart of LBB’s platform.
That uplift was in full display last night, with representatives from agencies, production companies, and everything in between popping down to Darlinghurst for a night on the town.
Toby said a few words reiterating the Little Black Book mission statement. Shouting out the rest of the APAC team (including editor Esther Faith lew, with the event in spirit from Singapore), he reaffirmed the platform’s raison d’être: Creating a space where, above all else, creativity can be celebrated.
It’s a message that has resonated with the creative community across APAc, and one the LBB team are only too happy to continue championing. How they do that will grow and vary, ranging from considered, insightful editorial, to late night singalongs to Talking Heads at pubs in Darlinghurst.
Both were on offer last night.
