Lanfranco & Cordova Gets Snug as a Bug in Clever Ads for Kokopelli Hostel

Kokopelli is a small hostel founded in Lima-Peru that recently opened its doors in the historic city of Cusco. 

The hostel previously launched a successful activation based on creating business cards made of Coca leaf. The cards promoted the hostel in the mountains of Cusco by allowing guests to use the cards and chew them in order to relief the symptoms of altitude sickness. 

This year they are promoting their hostels with an extraordinary print campaign for magazines and social media, and telling backpackers they don’t really need to sleep in the outdoors as they can get a room from only $8.99. Peruvian independent shop Lanfranco & Cordova developed the campaign.
