Because the best proof of elegance is to play collectively, Lacoste and BETC are ending this very particular year by setting up an operation in favour of Apprentis d’Auteuil—a French Association that has been working since 1866 for the education, training and social and professional integration of young people throughout France.
Between December 14th and 20th, all orders sent to France from Lacoste.com will include a delivery slip for Apprentis d’Auteuil. This voucher will allow you to send one or more items of clothing to the association, from any brand, free of charge.
"The Lacoste Foundation has been involved with Apprentis d'Auteuil for several years through a program for the integration of young people through sport. With Give for Good, we are continuing our commitment alongside this association to support the most vulnerable,” Catherine Spindler, EVP branding and marketing at Lacoste.
“After a hectic 2020 and end-of-year celebrations that will be even more difficult for some, we wanted to add a gesture of solidarity to Lacoste online orders during one of the most active weeks in e-commerce," Aurélie Scalabre and Olivier Aumard, creative directors at BETC.
Having spent most of 2020 in our homes, closets are often filled with clothes that are rarely, if ever, worn, and yet are in very good condition. Either they are the wrong colour, the wrong size or simply not the right style, Give for Good Gives these clothes a second chance while making a valuable contribution to Apprentis d’Auteuil to support social and professional integration in France.
Lacoste and Apprentis d’Auteuil
Founded in 1866, the Apprentis d’Auteuil Foundation’s mission is to welcome, educate, train and integrate young people and support families in difficulty.
In 2010, the association launched a Tennis-School programme with Lacoste. Each year, this project allows 500 young people between the ages of six and 20 to benefit from regular tennis practice in 21 Apprentis ’Auteuil establishments.
Give for Good Strengthens More than 10-years partnership with the association, supporting the social and professional integration of 30,000 young people throughout France each year.
