KODE Launches New Photography Division

KODE has announced the launch of its new photography division, and the appointment of Chris Sutherland as head of photo. With an impressive career spanning over a decade in photographic production, and agenting, Chris brings a wealth of expertise that will be pivotal in shaping the future of the production studio’s rapidly expanding photography division.

Chris' career trajectory, from his early days as a photographer’s assistant, to his most recent position as a Photo Agent At Collective's food and drinks division 'At Rare' means he has a unique understanding of lighting and approaching projects, as well as delivering complex campaigns to brief. Whilst leading ‘At Rare', Chris built connections between photographers and globally recognised brands, earning a reputation for his keen understanding of both the creative and logistical aspects of the production process, and artist management.

Reflecting on his new role, Chris said, “I’m thrilled to be joining KODE at such an exciting time in its evolution. With KODE's production team excelling in delivering photography campaigns over the past five years - for brands such as Nike, Aston Martin, Adidas, Manchester City, Chelsea, Spotify, Beats, TUI, Monster Energy, Ovo Energy, Tressemme and Muller Rice - the appointment of Chris marks an integral step toward cultivating and spotlighting individual photographic talent.
