KO Music Scoops Cresta Award for B-Ball Magic

KO Music has won a 2022 Silver Cresta Award for best use of music, for Philip Kay's stunning original track for Hennessy X NBA - Game Never Stops. 

Briefed by the team at Droga5 NY to capture the energy and spirit of the characters in the spot and of the NBA in general, composer Philip Kay decided that rather than allowing space for sound, why not construct the beats and backbone of the track from basketball court samples.

He took to his local courts to capture the various sounds of play and built a bespoke hip-hop track out of the recordings. You can check it out below!
