Two years after pulling one of the buzziest stunts in Super Bowl history with the death and rebirth of its iconic mascot, Planters is back and looking to use the Big Game to spark a big debate.
This year’s ad – set to air in about 30 markets nationwide just before halftime – features comedic duo Ken Jeong and Joel McHale battling to resolve an age-old question: What’s the right way to eat mixed nuts? All at once or one at a time?
Planters will unshell new, nutty developments in the integrated campaign leading up to game day on February 13. Fans will also be encouraged to show how they snack on mixed nuts and whether or not they are on team “All” like Joel or “One” like Ken and join the debate by sharing #PlantersAllorOne on social.
Planters skipped the Super Bowl last year, instead opting to shellebrate little acts of substance throughout the year. It aired national Super Bowl ads in both 2019 and 2020.
